REPORTS TO : Finishing Production Manager

PURPOSE : Operate production fabric through Patriot / Eagle range by following proper policies and procedures

SHIFT / WORK HOURS :

Gaines Rotating Schedule

Must qualify on Two Different Jobs at Sr. Operator Rate - to reach top pay

RESPONSIBILITIES :

1) Knowledge of all general plant safety rules & safety absolutes.

2) Operate equipment in a safe manner

3) Process 1st quality cloth

4) Meet production goals set-out by department manager

5) Follow proper policies and procedures set out by department and location

SKILL REQUIREMENTS :

• Ability to read and write and follow directions
• Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
• Basic Math (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
• Ability to operate forklift and power tugger
• Ability to learn how to use computer system (MES)
• Good communication skills
• Strong discipline
• Ability to make adjustments to machine settings
• Ability to recognize defects and abnormalities
• Ability to recognize quality issues and make sound decisions based on tolerances
• Ability to handle all chemicals and tasks while wearing proper PPE
• Ability to recognize unsafe fire conditions
• Ability to activate the steam snuffing system
