Sales Support / Administrative Assistant
A technology solutions company supporting both public and private sector clients is seeking a Sales Support / Business Development Representative to join its growing team. This position plays a key role in supporting the organization's growth strategy through marketing, client engagement, and business development activities. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing, Outreach, and Brand Development
- Maintain and update company website content and social media platforms to enhance visibility and engagement.
- Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns and go-to-market strategies.
- Support promotional activities including trade shows, conferences, and digital marketing efforts.
- Manage participation in industry groups and professional associations.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
- Lead targeted outreach initiatives for specific customer segments and technology domains.
- Business Development and Sales Operations
- Support business development activities across government and commercial markets.
- Track new opportunities and assist in proposal development and capture planning.
- Monitor budgets, metrics, and forecasts related to business development activities.
- Maintain CRM systems, ensuring data accuracy and effective reporting.
- Support partner and channel management efforts.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Customer Engagement and Relationship Management
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email, web, or phone.
- Ensure timely follow-up with prospective and existing customers to maintain satisfaction and account health.
- Track and manage service records, warranties, and customer data.
- Assist with long-term relationship management and client retention strategies.
- Administrative and Operational Support
- Provide administrative support for business development initiatives, meetings, and deliverables.
- Prepare recurring reports and dashboards with accurate metrics.
- Ensure compliance with organizational data protection and confidentiality standards.
- Technical and Analytical Support
- Demonstrate proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Conduct business intelligence and market research on potential clients and industry trends.
- Support workflow automation and process improvements to enhance team efficiency.
- Develop an understanding of company products and solutions to effectively communicate value to customers and partners.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.2+ years of experience in business development, inside sales, or marketing supportpreferably in a technology or professional services environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.U.S. Citizenship and eligibility to work on sensitive government-related projects (if applicable).$60,000 - $65,000 a year
