Job Title : Material Handler

Location : Nunica, Michigan

Versatile is a fast-paced, high-tech custom manufacturing facility located west of Grand Rapids in Nunica, Michigan. We are a wood products manufacturing company supplying the store fixture, furniture, and architectural millwork industries. Come join the Versatile team, where “We Build it Better.”

Schedule :

Monday–Thursday, 6 : 00 a.m. – 4 : 30 p.m., with Friday overtime as needed

Pay Range : Based on Experince

Job Summary :

The Material Handler is responsible for efficiently moving, organizing, and managing materials throughout the production process. This role ensures that production lines remain supplied and operates smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

Receive, unload, and organize raw materials and finished goods

Transport materials to and from production areas using forklifts or other equipment

Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts

Inspect incoming materials for quality and report any discrepancies

Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and comply with safety standards

Collaborate with production teams to support timely manufacturing

Qualifications :

Prior experience in material handling, warehousing, or manufacturing preferred

Forklift operation experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

High school diploma or equivalent
