Acuity International is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our dedicated medical team deployed to the Marshall Islands . This is a rare opportunity to provide critical care in a unique international setting while supporting surgical, dental, and emergency procedures.
Location : Deploying to the Marshall Islands
Your Role :
As a CRNA, you will work under the supervision of a surgeon, dentist, or anesthesiologist to :
- Administer anesthetics and monitor patients during surgical and medical procedures
- Review pre-surgical tests and medical histories
- Ensure emergency preparedness (supplies, blood availability, etc.)
- Assist with airway management, oxygen administration, and shock prevention
- Support patient stabilization and coordinate potential medevacs
Key Responsibilities Include :
Conduct pre-anesthetic screenings and assessmentsDevelop SOPs for anesthesia safety and managementAdminister anesthesia and post-op medicationsMonitor vital signs and post-anesthesia recoveryInsert IVs, arterial lines, and manage airway statusTeach and instruct staff in anesthesia-related proceduresMaintain accurate documentation and participate in training and mass casualty exercisesQualifications :
Accredited Nursing program graduateGraduate of an accredited U.S. Nurse Anesthetist program (Masters or Diploma)Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed Nurse AnesthetistActive, unrestricted U.S. State CRNA licenseCurrent NBCRNA certificationCurrent certifications in BLS and ACLS (ATLS highly desirable)At least 6 months of recent clinical experience in the last 12 monthsU.S. Drivers License & valid U.S. Passport (6+ months validity)English fluency requiredMust be able to obtain a favorable CNACI background investigationMust agree to and sign an International Assignment AgreementTechnical Skills :
Basic computer literacyExperience with medical record systems (Acuitys Medical Management Software preferred)Physical & Work Environment Requirements :
