Job description

Job Title : Locum Gastroenterologist in Petoskey, MI

Join our reputable healthcare facility located in picturesque Petoskey, Michigan. Our medical team is devoted to providing exceptional gastroenterological care. The practice offers a supportive environment with a full complement of onsite services including lab and X-ray capabilities. You will work alongside two physicians and two Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in a friendly clinic setting that emphasizes collaboration and quality patient care.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Conduct ERCP procedures (required).
  • Engage with 18 outpatients and perform 20 inpatient scopes daily.
  • Provide endoscopy coverage along with consult services during clinic hours (7 AM - 4 : 30 PM).
  • Collaboration with two physicians and two APPs alongside onsite support staff.
  • Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation and management.

Qualifications :

  • Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience following completion of fellowship.
  • Local candidates preferred due to orientation and training requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the gastroenterology patient population.

    • License and Certification Requirements :

  • Active Michigan medical license and CSR at the time of submission.
  • ACLS certification.
  • DEA Verbal Confirmation required upon name clear.
  • Immunizations including Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, Flu (current season), and TB documentation within the last 12 months.
