Job description

We are seeking a board-certified Pediatrician for a 23-day locum tenens assignment in California, beginning Oct 20, 2025. This opportunity offers a Monday through Friday daytime schedule, with the Pediatrician serving as the sole doctor in the office and seeing up to 18 patients per day.

  • Monday-Thursday : 8 : 30 am-5 : 30 pm
  • Friday : 8 : 30 am-4 : 30 pm
  • Closed on Thanksgiving and Black Friday
  • Assignment dates : Oct 20-24, Oct 27-31, Nov 21, Nov 24-26, Dec 1-5, Dec 8-12

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serve as the sole Pediatrician in the office
  • Provide general pediatric care to patients
  • See up to 18 patients per day
  • Perform patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatments
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols and standards

  • Board certification in Pediatrics required
  • California medical license required
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification required
  • No schedule flexibility; assignment dates are fixed
