Financial Educator

A company is looking for a Financial Educator Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Consult with patients regarding their benefits, coverage, and financial options

Perform aspects of benefit verification and prior authorization

Provide ongoing financial education and assistance to patients throughout their care

Required Qualifications and Education

Minimum 2 to 4 years of medical business office experience with knowledge of healthcare billing and collections

Experience reading and understanding payer remittance advice

Bachelor's Degree preferred

Experience working in an OB / GYN office is a plus

Proficient with Microsoft programs, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel
