Overview
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an
Office Assistant
for an onsite position in
Garland, TX
Responsibilities
Provide administrative and clerical support to the Inside Sales team.
Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and customer orders.
Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate team member.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, and availability.
Review and distribute work orders to the appropriate departments.
Assist with preparing pricing and customer quotes as needed.
Compile and maintain records for purchase orders, invoices, and customer files.
Support sales staff in preparing sales contracts and processing order entries.
Perform data entry and maintain accurate documentation.
Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
~ High School Diploma or GED required.
~1+ year of administrative or clerical experience preferred; recent graduates encouraged to apply.
~ Basic computer proficiency in
Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
required.
~ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
~ Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
~ Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
~ Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
