Description :

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical unit.

The nurse will provide care to a diverse patient population ranging from adolescents to geriatrics.

The average daily census on this unit is 33, with a patient ratio of 1 : 6.

The role will include responsibilities such as blood product administration, assessment and management of chest tubes, colostomy care, and telemetry monitoring.

Nurses should be proficient in starting and maintaining IVs, administering oxygen, and providing wound care.

Experience with central lines, feeding tubes, and isolation precautions is also needed.

Candidates must have strong communication skills and be able to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team setting.

Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required, with no requests for time off during major holidays.

Compliance with required documentation is necessary to start on time.
