HR Coordinator Overview :
The Pacific Club is looking to employ an enthusiastic and driven Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to assist the Human Resources Manager by supporting all HR functions, policies, processes, and communications. The HR Coordinator’s primary responsibilities include coordinating Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement, and HR Administration.
The HR Coordinator will keep abreast of the latest developments in employment law to determine how company HR policies might potentially be affected. The HR Coordinator is detail-oriented and able to demonstrate excellent administrative and organizational skills. This position reports to the Human Resources Manager.
HR Coordinator Responsibilities :
Talent Acquisition :
- Update job requirements and job descriptions for all positions based on hiring manager needs and ensure job duties support the job requirements.
- Support recruitment by managing job advertisements on job boards, social media platforms, and by organizing TPC participation in job fairs.
- Screen resumes and application forms to identify potential employees to fill job vacancies based on knowledge of EEO laws.
- Support hiring managers by coordinating and scheduling interviews with shortlisted candidates.
- Create and / or send email templates to candidates for employment offers and rejection emails / letters.
- Create and maintain employee personnel files for new hires and terminated employees, and add new employee hires into ADP.
- Organize onboarding, new employee starts, coordinate new hire orientations, and coordinate distribution of lockers and employee vehicle decals.
- Manage PAF log with information on employee eligibility for benefits, bonuses, and performance evaluations.
Employee Engagement :
Coordinate and organize Employee Engagement activities and events (such as Benefits Fair, employee socials, trainings, and process employee comments and employee referrals.Develop and coordinate employee recognition and reward activities such as employee of the month program, monthly employee birthday celebrations, and work anniversaries.With HR Manager, coordinate employee satisfaction surveys and give actionable insights to improve employee experience.Promote employee engagement activities through all platforms (e.g., employee bulletin boards, display commercials / ads, emails, etc).Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, like collection of employee feedback, marketing and set-up for employee on-site trainings, educational sessions.Support Employee Experience Committee in coordinating the annual Employee Holiday Party.Support HR Manager in organizing the Employee Experience Committee.HR Administration :
Write and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)s for each HR function.Develop and incorporate continual process improvements for HR policies and procedures.Organize and support compliance and learning and development seminars based on each department’s needs.Support benefit enrollments and file employee and benefit documents.Maintain and file employee forms and records for all employees.Coordinate Employee Benefit Fair.Update and maintain annual HR Calendar.Working with the HR Manager, respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance to employees.Reinforce the company policies, rules, and procedures to ensure employees’ safety.HR Coordinator Requirements :
BS / BA in Business Administration or relevant field; additional education in Human Resource Management a plus.At least one year experience as a practitioner in ADP.At least one year of experience involved in administrative tasks such as onboarding, recruitment, and employee database management.Working knowledge of U.S. labor laws.In-depth understanding of sourcing tools like resume databases and online / offline communities and experience with social media recruiting .Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.Proficiency in Canva (preferred).Strong individual accountability with ability to work as part of a team.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.Ability to manage data and employee documents with confidentiality.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.Effective communication skills.Pay Rate : $25 / hr. (Non-Exempt position)
