Peters Health Partners Medical Associates is seeking a fellowship-trained, board-certified Anesthesiologist for a full-time Chief of Anesthesiology position at Samaritan Hospital. This hospital-employed leadership role oversees the anesthesia department, clinical operations, staffing, and quality initiatives at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY.

Oversee anesthesia services across OR, OB, and endoscopy.

Drive quality improvement, innovation, and patient safety

Partner with surgical, nursing, and administrative leadership

Board-certified Anesthesiologist with fellowship training

Proven leadership experience managing anesthesia teams

Experience in clinical operations, quality improvement, and strategic planning

Eligible for NYS medical license and DEA

Onsite shifts - 44 hours / week, 44 weeks - 1,936 hours per year

~ First call shifts per year :

~1 in 8 weekday shifts - 12 hours each

~1 in 8 weekend day shifts - 24 hours each

~1 in 6 holidays - 12 hours each

Starting & Retention Bonus : $100,000 (with 2-year claw back)

Chief Stipend : $91,520 annually for 416 hours of administrative leadership
