The Opportunity

As part of the Private Tax team you will prepare individual tax returns, extensions, and estimates for executives while analyzing tax problems and suggesting solutions. As an Associate you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagement and projects, developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and nurture client relationships while maintaining elevated standards in deliverables and gaining a thorough understanding of the business context.

What You Must Have

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance

1 year of experience

What Sets You Apart

Master's Degree in Accounting & Finance, Taxation preferred

Certified Public Accountant [or commitment to pass CPA exam before being promoted to Manager and thereafter obtain CPA licensure, Enrolled Agent or Member of the Bar]

Understanding individual tax compliance and planning

Familiarity with professional service environments

Experience preparing and self-reviewing individual tax returns

Identifying and addressing client tax issues

Creating a positive environment by managing deadlines

Developing a thorough understanding of the business context

The salary range for this position is : $50,500 - $112,500, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
