ER RN Job Details

Location : Nampa, Idaho (Zip : 83687) – Idaho nursing jobs

Facility : Emergency Department, Level IV Trauma Center

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Start Date : November 2, 2025

End Date : February 1, 2026

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Shift : 12-hour days (7a-7p), every other weekend; float as needed (potential to float to Meridian and Boise Emergency Rooms)

Charting System : EPIC

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1680 - $1800

ER Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Idaho or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department RN experience

Required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC

Experience providing emergency care for pediatric and adult patients

Strong ability to manage ED patient flow and adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment

Excellent communication, clinical assessment, and teamwork skills

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in the Emergency Department

Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care needs in a Level IV Trauma Center

Administer medications, monitor IV drips, and perform conscious sedation as required

Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals

Interpret cardiac monitor strips and assist with emergency procedures

Float to Meridian and Boise ERs as needed for clinical support

Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR

Contribute to a positive, team-oriented healthcare environment
