XRay Tech Job Description / Responsibilities :

• Perform Medical Diagnostic Imaging : Take radiologic films that provide high-quality images to aid physicians in diagnosing medical conditions.
• Patient Preparation & Safety : Accurately prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, following all radiation safety protocols to prevent unnecessary exposure.
• Maintain Equipment : Ensure that all radiology equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions.
• Documentation : Ensure prompt and accurate submission of images and documents to PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) or similar system with correct patient information and imaging markers.
• Radiation Safety : Follow strict radiation safety guidelines to protect patients, staff, and yourself.

Radiologic Technologist Requirements / Skills :

Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification required
