Job Description

This position is part of a dynamic mental health initiative supporting adults aged 60 and older in Brooklyn senior centers. The role requires enthusiastic, bilingual (Spanish-speaking) clinicians to deliver compassionate mental health care to seniors experiencing depression, anxiety, and social isolation. The therapist will provide individual and group therapy aimed at promoting openness and well-being.

Responsibilities / Job Duties :

Conduct individual and group therapy in a supportive, team-based environment

Maintain accurate electronic documentation (strong computer skills required)

Participate in regular team meetings, clinical supervision, and CEU-accredited trainings

Present educational topics and lead engaging group discussions with senior participants

Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements :

Valid NYS licensure : LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, or LMHC

100% fluency in Spanish and English (not just conversational)

Experience leading group therapy and working with older adult populations preferred
