Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Central Patient Logistics teram as Patient Placement Coordinator.

Shift Details : Day Shift 7pm - 7am

Patient Placement Coordinator : Patient Placement Nurse Coordinator will Plan, coordinate and manage patient bed assignments to ensure the patient is admitted to the most appropriate patient care unit in a timely manner from all points of entry. The Coordinator's primary function is to ensure safe, efficient, well-coordinated admissions or transfers. Patient Placement Nurse Coordinator will coordinate all aspects of the patient disposition process.

• Assist in the multidisciplinary approach to capacity management.
• Discuss and coordinate patient transfers and admissions from : OR, ER, Transfer Team. inter-hospital transfers and other sources
• Discuss and coordinate with : Charge Nurses, HS, AOC, Physicians

3-5 years

Bachelor's Degree
