Job Description

Summary :

The Buyer is responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials, packaging components, and services to support production and business operations. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills to ensure timely and accurate purchasing while maintaining vendor relationships, controlling costs, and meeting production schedules. The Buyer will collaborate closely with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure a smooth supply chain flow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare purchase orders according to lead times, MOQs, and pricing requirements.
• Execute and follow up on purchasing activities based on supplier lead times and internal testing timelines.
• Order and coordinate materials / services for production, office, and staff needs.
• Process orders, change orders, confirmations, RMAs, and other daily MRP system transactions.
• Coordinate and schedule logistics for incoming domestic and international components, as needed.
• Maintain safety stock in line with internal plans and customer commitments.
• Provide raw material and packaging material availability updates for commercial POs and R&D needs.
• Ensure raw materials and packaging materials are available per the production schedule.
• Maintain transparent and accurate communication with internal teams.
• Collaborate with the Procurement Specialist / Senior Buyer to evaluate supplier quality, price, reliability, and support.
• Escalate issues to the Senior Buyer / Purchasing Manager when necessary.
• Maintain records and systems consistent with professional purchasing standards.
