About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS

Must-Have :

Epic experience required

Float required within scope to meet facility needs

Description :

Position / Specialty : ER RN working in a fast-paced emergency room setting.

The shift will be 3x12s during the night, from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Ratios will be based on acuity.

Every other weekend will be required.

On-call is not required.

First-time travelers are not accepted for this position.

Candidates should be open to floating to meet the needs of the facility and department.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room.

Certifications must include BLS and ACLS; PALS is also required.

Additional preferred certifications are CPI and TNCC.

Skills required include managing arterial lines and blood product administration, as well as experience with central line care.

Experience with continuous IV sedation, CPAP / BiPAP, and management of dysrhythmias is essential.

Candidates should be familiar with emergency care for patients of all ages, including neonates and pediatrics.

Travel experience is required for this position.

This facility may prioritize non-local candidates.

Candidates must provide validation for any pending state license applications.

Travelers should be aware of potential emergency response assignments during hurricane season, which extends from June to November.
