Physician / Neurology / New York / Permanent / Neurologist Job

A health services network in New York is actively seeking a licensedNeurologist to provide direct care to patients within the Neurology specialty at one of their medical practices in Rockland County.

About the Opportunity :

• Specialty : Neurology

Setting : 75% outpatient, 25% inpatient

Schedule : Monday to Friday

Patient Population : Adults

Patient Volume : 15 to 20 per day

Call Schedule : Yes (24 hours during on-call week)

Responsibilities :

The Neurologist will :

Assess the physical, psychological, spiritual and social needs of the patient

Direct patients to the next appropriate service and track their progress

Assure that all patients receive appropriate evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, medical screening and medical evaluation whenever indicated

Ensure thatmedical patient care is appropriately documented in the medical record

Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications :

Board Eligible / Certified in Neurology

Qualified for membership on the Medical Staff

Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills

Greatinterpersonal skills

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
