Job description

Coverage Needed :

  • As soon as credentialed - ongoing
  • Must be flexible to work days, nights and weekends
  • Main hospital campus may consider less than 12hr shifts, affiliated FSED's require 12hr shifts
  • Shift times : 7a-5p, 1p-11p, 9p-7a or 7p-7a, 7a-7p

Clinical Information :

  • Preference is for locum providers to be open to working at main hospital as well as affiliated FSER's
  • All standard ER procedures
  • No peds, no plastics, no neuro IR, NO cath lab, NO OB
  • Average patient census : 81
  • Common cases : Higher population of Level 4 and 5 patients. Do get sick patients which require intubation, central lines (have an ICU)
  • Annual ER admissions : 12%
  • Neurology, Psychiatric

    • Required :

  • DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
  • Board Certified in one of the following :

    • American Board of Emergency Medicine

  • American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine
  • Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with EM experience
  • Active MO License
  • ATLS, ACLS, PALS
  • Providers living inside of 50 miles from the facility will be considered "Local", and will not be eligible for this role
