Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Med Surg Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 02 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Description : Unit : Medical / Surgical (NIHSS preferred) Patient Ratio : 1 : 7 (must be pre-closed on this ratio before submission) Schedule : 4x12hrs Weekends : Every other weekend required Floating : Required to other units as needed Requirements : Minimum 2 years of experience Accepts first-time travelers Certifications : AHA BLS required; NIHSS preferred Experience : MS / Tele and Med / Surg required Must live at least 100 miles from the facility Orientation : Begins on Sundays (online CBLs) Traveler may start any Sunday once compliance documents are completed by the deadline Scheduling Notes : Hospital may cancel or call off one shift biweekly without financial penalty due to census decrease (applies to 36 / 36 or 36 / 48 schedules per agreement) Additional shifts picked up beyond the regular schedule may be flexed as needed without penalty Additional Responsibilities : Contract RN / LPN team members are expected to support nursing student education alongside clinical care.
