Physical Therapist

BASIC FUNCTION : Grand River Health is looking for a Physical Therapist with advocacy for wellness and an undeniable passion for improving lives through motion at our long-term care center. The ideal candidate will have a talent for tailoring treatments that will be the key to unlocking the resident's full potential.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Responsible for evaluation of residents, where your keen eye for detail and diagnostic skills will unravel even the trickiest physical puzzles due to injury, disease, physical disabilities or surgery.
• Your creative treatment plans will lead residents on exciting challenges, turning the road to recovery into an enjoyable exploration using a variety of methods, including exercises, wound care, aquatic therapy, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and equipment to ease residents' pain and help them increase their mobility.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to create a united front in pursuit of residents' wellness goals. Your ability to work seamlessly in a team will strengthen the impact of your interventions.
• Craft personalized workout regimens that are as unique as each individual you work with.
• May guide and mentor a team of physical therapy assistants, aides, and athletic trainers to inspire them to deliver exceptional care and cultivate a positive and supportive work environment.
