About The Position

License : Compact license or single state license required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Must-Have :

Epic experience is required.

Travelers are required to work one holiday per 13-week assignment.

Must work with a patient ratio of 1 : 5.

Description :

Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neuro Progressive Care Unit.

This role involves patient care for individuals with neurosurgery, stroke, medical overflow, and neuro-specific conditions.

The unit has dedicated beds for 24-hour epilepsy monitoring.

Clinical skills required include the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, and central line care.

Experience with telemetry and non-invasive airway management is necessary.

Interdisciplinary support teams include IV, physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.

Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Submit all requests for time off in advance.

Active nursing license is required.

Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are considered local and are not eligible for this position.

Previous employees must have been gone for a minimum of one year before reapplying.

Compliance documentation will be required prior to the start of the assignment.
