Description :

Seeking a registered nurse specializing in interventional radiology.

The position involves providing care for procedural patients.

RNs will conduct various procedures such as CT-guided biopsies, fistulograms, GJ-tube placements, lower extremity angiograms, nuclear medicine / stress tests, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and Y90 procedures.

Nurses will be required to take call shifts on weekends and overnights.

The typical call schedule includes one night shift every other week and one weekend every 3-4 weeks.

Floating within like units may be necessary to meet facility needs.

Daily census averages 15-20 patients.

Collaborative interdisciplinary support teams are available, including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and pharmacy.

The ideal candidate should have experience interpreting and managing dysrhythmias and monitoring procedural sedation.

Candidates must have reliable transportation.
