Manufacturing Production Planner 2 - Auto OEM

We are seeking a full-time Manufacturing Production Planner 2 - Auto OEM in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for performing semi-complex supply chain management relating to materials planning, purchasing, and manufacturing and provides input in the development of planning procedures.

Essential Functions :

• Facilitates, coordinates, and project manages Automotive OEM programs encompassing all planning disciplines (NPI, Demand, GSC, Production Planning, and Service / Spares Planning) regarding materials planning, purchasing, and manufacturing
• Full use and understanding of supply chain, systems, and processes used by area
• Understands / owns accountability for department KPI's
• Evaluates data for decision-making purposes / makes recommendations and commands supply chain processes defined in assigned area of responsibility
• Recognizes issues, explores solutions, and provides timely responses
• Actively contributes to discussions in team initiative toward goal resolution, provides guidance to Planner 1 associates, and plans own daily workload with ability to identify priorities

Cleanliness zone area requirements : This position requires Garmin provided personal protective equipment including SD shoes (Static Dissipative Footwear) to be always worn for an entire shift to minimize the risk of electrostatic discharge (ESD) and meet specified standards
