Tax Senior or Tax Manager Based on Experience

Specific responsibilities for our next family member :
- Review and preparation of business and personal tax returns for small business clients from initial meeting through delivery and filing of returns
- Preparation of tax projections on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Support staff accountants and bookkeepers with technical questions
- Communicate with clients
- Organize and update the tax database
- Record tax entries into accounting software
- Understand and apply tax reduction strategies
- Preparation and / or review of financial statements
Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities :
3-5 years of proven work experience in Public Accounting in a tax role is a mustMust be a CPA, EA or licensed preparerDeep knowledge of personal and business tax code, tax concepts, rules, regulations, forms and savings strategiesExperience effectively responding to notices from federal, state and local governments regarding income and payroll tax mattersKnowledge of QuickBooks Online and DesktopComputer literacy, numerical skills and strong attention to detail are requiredExperience in Ultra Tax, Accounting CS software is a plusKnowledge of MS Word & Outlook as well as MS Excel is requiredExcellent verbal, written communication and organizational skillsAbility to learn new processes and procedures quickly and execute them reliablyOur next family member has :
