Transit Driver Lincoln City Loop - Part Time

The Lincoln County Transit Department is looking to add a part time driver for the Lincoln City loop. This person will operate an 8 to 35-passenger bus in a manner that provides safe, courteous, reliable, and efficient passenger transportation while complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws in accordance with Transit policy and procedures.

$21.22 - $25.36 per hour

• Lincoln County follows Oregon Pay Equity laws in reviewing education and experience for wage offer. This is a PART TIME, 3 days / 30 hours per week, benefited

High School Diploma / GED

EXPERIENCE

One year transit or similar driving experience with multiple passengers.

LICENSE

CDL License required at time of hire Must possess a valid Oregon class A or B commercial driver's license with a passenger endorsement and have a current DOT medical examiner's certificate.

Lincoln County offers a comprehensive benefit package including vacation, holiday, and sick leave as well as medical, dental, vision which is paid at 90% by the County and 10% by the employee. Other fully paid benefits include life, AD&D, long-term disability insurance. Other optional insurances are available. A 401K retirement plan is also provided. The County's current contribution rate is 11%. Regular and Trial Service employees working between 20 - 39 hours per week on a regular basis are eligible for pro-rated employee benefits.
