POSITION OBJECTIVE

The Network Technician oversees the design, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of clients' networks. Demonstrates expertise in networking technologies, security protocols, and problem-solving abilities crucial in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of clients' network systems. Works alongside other network and computer support specialists, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Key Responsibilities And Qualifications

Responsibilities :

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software. Including but not limited to Fortinet and Ubiquiti equipment.
• Design, perform onsite Installation, and troubleshoot networks as necessary for clients in a timely manner.
• Utilize on-device and cloud software to manage and monitor network performance and reliability, plan for improvements where necessary.
• Schedule downtime in and out of client hours to update and maintain equipment.
• Configure and troubleshoot Site-To-Site and Remote Access VPNs.
• Implement and manage routing protocols for redundancy in Site-To-Site VPN networks.
• Utilize tools to troubleshoot networks – from basic troubleshooting tools to network scan and traffic analysis tools.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless network operations.
• Secure the network against cyber-attacks, including updating firmware on network devices as well as implementing and securing firewall policies.
• Provide technical direction and assistance to coworkers about network systems.
• Work to procure the necessary equipment for a network design, while anticipating any future growth and needs
