Volt is immediately hiring a Sr. Mechanical Engineer  in  San Diego, CA.

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, Development and Building : Creating and improving mechanical components or systems, designing new components and products
• Manufacturing Support : Working with manufacturing teams to resolve issues on the shop floor, improve processes, and validate production methods for new designs.
• Design Acceptance : Ensuring design acceptance, manufacturing producibility, and validation.  Develop project scope to address business challenges and opportunities.
• Continuous Improvement : Implementing process or design changes for better efficiency, quality, and cost.
• Cross-functional Collaboration : Working with design, production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth transition from design to production.

Qualifications :

This is a long term indefinite temp role, up to 15 months with potential to go temp to hire.  Hours are full time, onsite working at the downtown San Diego facility.

Pay Rate :   $45-52 per hour
