Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support an elementary school autism classroom in Atlanta, GA, for a full semester contract. This role involves managing an elementary caseload and collaborating with paraprofessionals to deliver tailored instruction that meets the unique needs of students with autism.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver adapted curriculum lessons aligned with individual education plans (IEPs) for students on the autism spectrum
• Work closely with paraprofessionals to facilitate classroom support and behavior management
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Communicate effectively with families and staff regarding student growth and classroom activities
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and development
