Financial Reporting & Regulatory Compliance Accountant

Working as Full-time Financial Reporting & Regulatory Compliance Accountant, enjoy the opportunity to participate in a fast-paced work environment focusing on a variety of financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and analytical processes and procedures. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

Duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to :

• Preparing external financial statements and SEC filings, such as 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks and other reports, including XBRL and compilation of supporting documentation
• Establishing and documenting quarterly closing timelines and communicating this information to internal and external partners
• Assigning tasks and deadlines to gather information needed to compile reports
• Researching disclosure guidelines and consulting with SEC counsel
• Performing analysis of financial and operational data and compiling quarterly statistical information
• Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting period close activities, including reconciliations and account analysis
• Compiling and distributing documents to Audit Committee members, external auditors, and SEC counsel
• Responding to inquiries from internal stakeholders and external auditors
• Analyzing accounting processes to identify and implement enhancements to drive efficiencies related to systems and procedures
• Leading and completing special projects and other administrative tasks as assigned

Fastenal offers a competitive benefits package to all full-time employees. This package includes Health, Life, Long Term Disability, and Dental Insurance, in addition to, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, and 401(k) with an employer contribution. The base pay range for this position is $42,000 - 52,500. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and / or commission. Equal Opportunity Employer
