• Morton County, Mandan, North Dakota Department : Buildings and Grounds Status : Full-Time, Benefit-Eligible (40 hours per week) Salary : Based on qualifications and experience POSITION SUMMARY Morton County is seeking a skilled, dependable, and people-centered Building & Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance and custodial operations of our County Courthouse, Law Enforcement Center, and surrounding grounds.
• This position blends technical expertise with strong leadership and communication skills.
• The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, confident using technology, and skilled at leading a team of maintenance and custodial professionals.
• They take pride in keeping systems running smoothly, people working safely, and facilities operating at their best all while maintaining professionalism, fairness, and a sense of community pride.
• This is both a hands-on and leadership position.
• The Supervisor oversees HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and custodial functions; manages facility projects; and ensures the comfort, safety, and operational integrity of County buildings serving both employees and citizens.
