Travel Neonatal ICU Registered Nurse - $2,074 per week

• Work in NICU with patient ratios of 1 : 3 for days, nights, and weekends
• Float to Mother Baby and Pediatrics units as needed
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend
• 24-hour orientation provided
• 2 years of experience in specialty required
• Travel experience required - first time travelers not accepted
• Post-operative experience required
• Must live over 65 miles from facility (local travelers not accepted)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications : BLS and NRP (AHA certifications required)
• Louisiana Compact or LA license required upon submittal
• NURSYS report required with profile (must be within 4 weeks of submission)
• 2 Manager / Supervisor references required for clearance (Charge RNs not acceptable)
• Care for neonates and infants with various conditions including prematurity, respiratory distress syndrome, hypoglycemia, and congenital anomalies
• Work with specialized equipment including oscillators, bubble CPAP, HFNC, and transcutaneous CO2 monitors
• Perform procedures such as umbilical lines, lumbar puncture assistance, and PICC line management
• Average daily census of 30 patients in 46-bed unit
• Must be available during hurricane season (June 1 - November 30) and may be assigned to Emergency Team
