Emergency General Surgery Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner

Baystate Health, western Massachusetts premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School - Baystate, is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our organization.

Position Highlights -

Join the regions only Level I Trauma Center where we provide the highest level of trauma, acute care surgery, and surgical critical care to patients of all ages. Our team of trauma surgeons and advanced practice providers respond to approximately 2,300 patients annually at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield MA.

In this role you will care for Emergency General Surgery patients alongside board certified attendings, surgical residents, and experienced PAs and NPs.

Opportunity to first assist in the operating room. Nurse Practitioners require RNFA Certification.

This full-time position involves 13-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays. No call responsibilities.

Qualifications : BE or BC Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. RNFA certification required for nurse practitioners.
