Maintenance Supervisor

Grand Villa of Englewood is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our dedicated Grand Villa Family. Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities within the community, including repairs, preventive maintenance, and safety inspections
  • Manage maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
  • Ensure all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical, are operating efficiently and safely
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff, prioritizing tasks effectively
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement maintenance budgets and schedules
  • Assist in planning and executing renovation or improvement projects as needed

Skills and Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in maintenance, construction, HVAC, or related fields, preferably within the healthcare or assisted living industry
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, safety protocols, and maintenance best practices
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of maintenance issues efficiently
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related areas are preferred
