Currently looking for new graduate and experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) for school-based SLP openings in the Rio Vista, CA area. These are full-time positions. Interested candidates should be licensed or eligible for license in Speech Therapy with a background in specific areas such as language disorders, speech sound disorders, and autism.
This position involves working with three elementary schools in the district. SLP-CCC preferred, but CFYs encouraged to apply as there may be ability for supervision in this position.

Responsibilities of the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Screen students for communicative disorders.Employ assessment procedures, techniques, and standardized tests necessary for thorough and accurate diagnosis of communication disorders.Conduct thorough triennial assessments of speech / language deficits.Assess and make necessary referrals for preschool children with communicative disorders.Develop and implement an Individualized Education Plan (IEP).Perform all other Speech Therapist duties as assigned.Requirements of the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Masters degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology ProgramAmerican Speech Hearing Language Association Certificate of Clinical CompetenceCurrent or eligible for Speech Language Pathologist License or Clinical Fellowship issued by State of CaliforniaBackground in specific areas such as language disorders, speech sound disorders, and autismExperience working with school-aged studentsFamiliarity with school systems, including IEPs, web-based IEP programs, and working with a school site team preferredKnowledge of the principles, practices, methods and techniques of speech-language therapyWe look forward to working with you!
