Telemetry RN Job Details

Location : Hickory, North Carolina 28601

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 14 / 2025 – End : 3 / 15 / 2026)

Shift : 12 Hour Days (07 : 00 – 19 : 00)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1590–$1710

Employment Type : Travel Nursing

Healthcare Setting : Telemetry Unit in a 294-bed, Joint Commission Accredited hospital

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Telemetry RN

Proficiency with Meditech EMR required

BLS certification (AHA)

Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and complete a 13-week travel nursing contract

Flexibility to float within scope of practice as needed

Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

Monitor and assess patients in the Telemetry unit, delivering high-quality nursing care

Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition

Administer prescribed medications and treatments

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Accurately document patient information using Meditech EMR

Educate patients and families on care plans and health management strategies

Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment according to hospital policies
