Engineering Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled Engineering Project Manager to oversee and coordinate various construction projects from conception to release to manufacturing. Daily duties also include supporting daily manufacturing issues pertaining to engineering. Essential Functions : 1. After APQP meeting, contact customer to discuss part / casting requirements. 2. Coordinate customer part design with customer, designer, toolmaker, CWM personnel, and suppliers. 3. Oversee the design and construction of die cast dies, trim tools. 4. Work with production to resolve problems, improve processes, or perform studies. 5. Hold design review meetings to receive feedback from production personnel. 6. Coordinate sampling of tooling and submission of castings for first article inspection. 7. Resolve discrepancies of dimensional and cosmetic issues in order to receive approval of tooling. 8.
