Your Role and Responsibilities

As an Associate Mental Health Therapist, you will :

  • Conduct culturally sensitive assessments : Create a welcoming environment for clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Provide tailored therapy : Offer individual and family therapy that meets the unique needs of each client.
  • Develop comprehensive care plans : Create crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans to empower clients on their mental health journey.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team : Engage in case consultations and contribute to enhancing client care.
  • Maintain professional standards : Ensure timely completion of documentation, billing, and treatment plans.
  • Work in a holistic environment : Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and fellow therapists to provide comprehensive care.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have :

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field. (Candidates who have applied for licensure are welcome!)
  • A passion for mental health and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
  • A dedication to ongoing professional development, including free supervision and continuing education.
  • A collaborative spirit, eager to work with a multidisciplinary team.
  • A strong commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and families.
  • Effective time management skills to handle documentation and administrative tasks efficiently.
