The Chaplain provides spiritual care, counseling, and crisis intervention for patients, families, and team members of Children's Hospital Colorado (CHCO). The Chaplain offers spiritual guidance and resources during hospitalization and periods of illness, crisis and loss, providing services to a diverse population encompassing all faiths.
This position serves as the primary spiritual care expert on the palliative care team. In partnership with unit chaplains, the role provides spiritual care to patients, families, and team members on inpatient units served by the palliative care program. The chaplain will also support patients and families across an eight-state region through telehealth appointments and, eventually, in-home visits.
In collaboration with the palliative care team, Bereavement Coordinator, psycho/social/spiritual colleagues, and other interdisciplinary partners, this role will help educate Children's Hospital Colorado team members and the broader community on palliative care, end-of-life issues, and related topics.

Salary Information
Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $54,790.77 to $82,186.16
