Performs a variety of routine duties related to environmental services. Maintains cleanliness according to established standards.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

• Maintains all areas according to departmental standards.
• Ensures proper infection control procedures when processing linen, trash, medical waste and performing cleaning tasks.
• Demonstrates awareness / understanding of PI Program, Excellence in action, Competencies, Mission & Vision of PRMC.
• Maintains and uses housekeeping equipment properly and safely.
• Reports pertinent information to supervisor or appropriate authority.
• Performs departmental record keeping.
• Performs all duties necessary to ensure appropriate linen and supply levels.
• Performs floor care.
