Work Setting : 80-bed emergency department, Level I trauma center

Schedule :

Afternoon, evening, and night shifts

Shifts include : 12 p.m. - 10 p.m.

2 p.m. - 12 a.m.

3 p.m. - 1 a.m.

4 p.m. - 1 a.m.

10 p.m. - 7 a.m.

10 a.m. - 10 p.m. (weekends only)

Support Staff :

125 hours of physician coverage per day

60 hours of advanced practice provider coverage per day

24-hour in-house coverage by anesthesia, intensivists, trauma, OB / GYN, ED, and 50 hospitalists

In-house pediatric hospitalists and PICU available 24 / 7

Clinical Responsibilities : Emergency medicine core procedures
