Overview

Montana Technological University is seeking a Web Developer to join the Marketing and Communications team on campus in Butte, Montana. The position requires strong knowledge of CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, responsive design, and web content management systems. The role involves developing, maintaining, and supporting the university’s websites and intranet, collaborating across campus to gather content, and coordinating with the IT department to test and maintain web servers and related software.

Duties

• Develop, maintain, and support Montana Technological University’s websites (www.mtech.edu and intranet.mtech.edu).
• Manage day-to-day operations of the institutional web presence, including content migration, editing, programming, graphic design, and interface design.
• Work with campus units to obtain content for the website and coordinate with the IT department for testing and server maintenance.
• Utilize Cascade CMS and apply knowledge of CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, and responsive design for website design and accessibility.
