This full-time role offers a structured schedule of 40 hours a week from Monday to Friday, with no weekend shifts!

Position Summary :

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our medical office, supporting providers and enhancing patient care. Your contributions will help create a positive healthcare experience for our patients while boosting office productivity.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Greet patients warmly and prepare them for their examinations.
  • Ensure patient charts are up-to-date and documentation is accurately recorded.
  • Oversee and participate in the vaccine program, adhering to state guidelines.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and medical supplies.
  • Assist physicians with office procedures and prepare surgical trays when needed.
  • Conduct EKGs and Spirometry tests as ordered.
  • Communicate lab results to patients and assist with follow-up care.
  • Manage prescription refill requests and provide patient instructions.
  • Schedule referrals and additional testing as required by physicians.
  • Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience may substitute for certification.
  • Previous experience in a medical facility is strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks, including lifting and operating office equipment.
