Jackson and Coker's partner in northern Mississippi is actively seeking one additional GI to add to their inpatient coverage / call coverage rotation to fill the remaining gaps in coverage that they have in 2025. This facility has other locums providers assisting them with coverage currently and each of the physicians have had their expectations exceeded by this work location and healthcare team.

Coverage Details for Assignment :

Current Board Certification and / or true Eligibility required

Active Mississippi medical license required (open to considering candidates who can obtain quick licensure via the IMLC)

Will be covering 24-hour call coverage (7A - 7A) and expected to work between 6-9 hours per day in the hospital each weekday shift + between 3-5 hours per day on Sat / Sunday

Will be covering the ED, see new consults, do emergent procedures & daily patient rounding while on assignment

Average # consults are between 3-5 per day & will see 3-5 emergent cases per week

Seeking to onboard a variation of advanced & general Gastroenterologists; ERCP is beneficial to the facility and can be utilized

Additional information about mid-level support is pending
