Night Shift

Corrections

Seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for night shifts in a Texas correctional facility. This role involves providing critical healthcare in a unique environment.

Responsibilities :

Provide nursing care and administer medications.

Monitor and report patient health changes.

Maintain accurate records.

Collaborate with healthcare team.

Follow facility safety and security protocols.

Qualifications :

Valid LVN license in Texas or compact state.

BLS certification.

2+ years LVN experience, 1+ year in med surg or acute care.

Experience in LTAC, ER, Skilled Nursing, or Psych preferred.

Strong communication skills.

Details :

13

week assignment, possible extension.

Night shifts, 36 / 48 weekly rotation.

Work through holidays; may float to nearby units.

Orientation in Conroe, TX, or Gatesville, TX.

COVID
