Lead Carpenter

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deck Builder to work with our landscape construction operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for enhancing outdoor spaces. This role requires an individual who can build decks, gazebos and fences, ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently and to the highest standards.

• Responsibilities
• Team lead to build decks, fences and gazebos.
• Develop and implement effective construction schedules to ensure timely completion of all projects.
• Purchase of materials for exterior carpentry projects.
• Monitor the quality of work performed by team members, ensuring adherence to company standards and client expectations.
• Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for ongoing projects.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their requirements.
• Experience
• Proven experience in deck building is essential. A minimum of 5 years of experience is required.
• Strong background in the construction industry.
• Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with team members and clients alike.
• Knowledge of best practices in carpentry.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Necessary Skills
• Excellent carpentry skills.
• The ability to drive a truck and trailer and obtain a DOT Medical Card. CDL license is a plus.
• The ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs routinely throughout a 10 hr shift.
• In order to be successful in this position an applicant will need to possess basic computer skills.
• The ability to perform basic takeoff calculations in the field.

Pay : $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
