The opportunity

The M365 CoPilot Product Owner reports directly to the AVP of Cloud and Systems Services helps shape the vision, strategy, and future development of the enterprise AI copilot platform. You will be the crucial link between our priorities and technical execution, this leader ensures that the platform delivers value across the organization. By partnering with partners from engineering, data science, security, and business teams, the product owner guides the adoption, governance, and continuous improvement of AI copilot technologies.

What You'll Do :

  • Develop a strategic vision and roadmap for the AI copilot platform, ensuring understanding of our goals and user requirements.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and partners to identify challenges, set priorities, and build support for platform projects.
  • Manage the platform's feature backlog, balancing value, technical practicality, and strategic direction.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks-such as access controls, data security, and ethical AI guidelines -to ensure compliance and responsible use of the platform through the development of a governance committee.
  • Promote platform adoption through the development of training materials for M365 CoPilot and new features, and the measurement of success with clear Goals.
  • Promote communication between departments, engineering, and data science teams to translate our needs into platform features through a Community of Practice.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, AI advancements, and competitor solutions to keep the platform relavant.
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization : Define and track goals to evaluate the success, identify improvement opportunities, and improve cost-effectiveness.
  • Find and address risks related to platform implementation, data privacy, and security.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

What We're Looking For :

  • 5+ years in product management or platform ownership, especially in AI, machine learning, or data-driven solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience with AI copilot technologies (such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, GitHub Copilot) or other large language model (LLM) platforms.
  • Experience with major cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and their AI offerings.
  • Experience with Organization Change Management (OCM) applying structured change management frameworks to improve adoption and partner understanding.
  • Experience with generative AI tools, prompt engineering, and orchestration of large language models.

    Compensation

    The annual pay range for this position is $75,528.00 - $120,865.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $83,457.00 - $112,912.00.
