Territory Business Manager
We are looking for a competitive Territory Business Manager to develop sales strategies and attract new clients. Here you will make an impact by :
- Managing the Nebraska territory to drive and support growth with Neogen Food Safety Products.
- Implementing and executing on business priorities
- Deliver on financial and forecast expectations
- Conduct business planning to drive growth with direct, indirect (channel), Key Accounts and focused market segments
- Develop sales strategies and adjust to meet changing market and competitive conditions for complex product lines and working cross functionally with other business disciplines
The successful salesperson will identify new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve quotas. They will play a key role in increasing revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and managing sales of products and services.
Other essential duties and responsibilities include :
Independently manage and grow business within a set geographyClose and grow sales through professional communication with existing and potential clientsIdentify and resolve client concerns; recommending a course of action to alleviate these concerns in the futureExpand market awareness of our products and our industry experience by communicating features and benefits of our products and services effectivelyMaintaining records of customer communications and contact information as requiredMaking technical presentations, webinarsPreparing responses to RFP (request for proposals) and RFI (request for information)Attending and participating in trade shows, conferences and other marketing eventsWorking knowledge of price calculationsResearches market requirements and market dataMaintain knowledge of competitor products and identify and report intelligence on competitor pricing or marketing strategiesMaintains current Neogen product knowledgeDemonstrate and explain best practices in installation techniques for all Neogen productsAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include :
Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology, Science or Sales is preferredSuccessful history of time and territory managementSuccessful sales performance and territory track record or meeting / exceeding forecastAttention to detail, critical thinkingExperience using Sales Force.com or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) softwareExperience with "Solution Selling" methodologiesStrong computer skills and experience with Microsoft OfficeFrequent travel within defined territory is required
