Are you ready to make a significant impact in the field of obesity and bariatric medicine? Nuvance Health is excited to invite a passionate full-time Metabolic Medicine / Obesity Physician to join our team at Northern Dutchess Hospital in beautiful Rhinebeck, New York—just 90 minutes from the vibrant heart of New York City!

Your Role

In this dynamic position, you will :

  • Manage obesity as a chronic disease, focusing on health and wellness.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, advanced practitioners, dietitians, and behavioral health specialists.
  • Contribute to research and teaching initiatives within our growing Metabolic and Medical Weight Management Program.
  • Engage in community outreach and education to promote awareness and understanding of obesity management.

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will be :

  • Board certified or eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, or Obesity Medicine.
  • Experienced in obesity medicine, with a solid understanding of the genetic, biological, environmental, social, and behavioral factors contributing to obesity.
  • A recent graduate of a bariatric medicine and clinical nutrition fellowship program is also welcome to apply!
